JOB SUMMARY:
Crane Performance Siding, a Crane Building Products Company and industry leader in the design and manufacture of vinyl siding and exterior cladding products offered through Exterior Portfolio by Crane, has an immediate opportunity for a Cost Accountant. The Cost Accountant is responsible to perform all daily duties related to cost accounting. Includes all analysis and reporting to management on product variances and productivity. Help in budgeting process in setting up work center rates. Various other accounting related functions.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for timely and accurate analysis of production cost, variances and other costs.
  • Responsible for review and validation of all product profile, BOM, and Routes.
  • Year end and periodic Rolling of Standard Costs.
    Responsible for reporting and analyzing Outside Operations.
  • Inventory/Manufacturing/Variance/Miscellaneous Manual Journal Entries and account analysis.
  • Fixed Asset and Depreciation reporting and analysis.
  • Special reporting and analysis as requested by management.
    All other duties as assigned by Supervisor

 

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 1-3 years experience in Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment.
  • Proficient PC skills in Microsoft products.
  • Excellent math skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Understanding financial concepts.
  • Must be able to work in a deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Team oriented.
